Problems with nVidia video cards:

Several users have reported bugs regarding the freezing of X when using
CannonSmash. This problem is not related to CannonSmash but to the nVidia
card driver you are using. The suggested solution to that problem is to
downgrade that driver to version 4191. Thanks to James Stone
