WARNING !!!! ----------------- This version of fcitx5 and its dependency packages all came from a snapshot of upstream developer. Currently there is no ABI compatibility guarantee from the upstream. **USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!** HOW TO CONFIGURE FCITX5 BEFORE USING IT --------------------------------------- Currently fcitx5 will **NOT** work out-of-the-box. You will have to configure it by yourself. This includes the following configuration: 1. Autostart when the user logs in 2. Environment variables 3. Input methods used by fcitx5 For (1) and (2), it can be configured using im-config (>= 0.44). You may also opt to configure the environment variable or autostart by yourself. For (3), you can configure it using kde-config-fcitx5 if you are using KDE. If you are not using KDE, you may still install package kde-config-fcitx5 and manually run /usr/bin/fcitx5-config-qt to finish configuration. Installing this package will NOT introduce dependencies on KDE libraries. You may also finish step (3) manually.
