flameshot (14.0.0-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * flameshot now uses the screenshot xdg-desktop-portal for grabbing
    screenshots, and `flameshot gui` will not launch without a functioning
    screenshot portal implementation (e.g. xdg-desktop-portal-gnome,
    xdg-desktop-portal-wlr, xdg-desktop-portal-hyprland) available.
  * The X11 screenshot method is now a legacy, deprecated option and can be
    enabled by checking the box in `flameshot config` under the General tab or
    setting `useX11LegacyScreenshot=true` in
    `~/.config/flameshot/flameshot.ini`. Use this if running in an X11
    environment without a functioning screenshot xdg-desktop-portal (e.g. i3,
    dwm).
