iotas for Debian
================

Starting with version 0.2.2, upstream iotas ships fonts and source code (CSS
and JavaScript files) from the KaTeX project[1].

However, KaTeX as a whole is already packaged in Debian, so shipping those same
files would be a waste of storage space. Consequently, the source tarball is
repacked to exclude those files, which are therefore not shipped as part of the
iotas package. Instead, iotas depends on the corresponding Debian packages
(namely, `libjs-katex` and `fonts-katex`) to provide those files.
