IT++ for Debian
---------------

Note that this version of IT++ is compiled without explicitly
depending on the atlas3 libraries, since they are in need of updation
in Debian. However, their presence on the system will allow the atlas
libraries to be used, since they are alternative dependencies.

Also, because of lapack3 requiring an old compiler (due to libg2c0),
an old gcc-3.4 compiler is being used. Since the lapack features
cannot be missed, I have persisted with this, though this solution is
not permanent. Any suggestions on this, or efforts to make lapack3
compile with gfortran are welcome. See BTS bug #379288 for details.
