paperwork (2.2.2-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  Starting with paperwork version 2.2.0 (2.2.2-1 Debian release), PNG is the
  new default image format for scanned documents.
  The rationale behind this choice is that JPEG is a bad image format for OCR.
  Note that existing files are not converted, only new files will use PNG
  instead of JPEG.

  You can keep the old behaviour by changing the configuration using:

    paperwork-cli config put model_img_format str JPEG
    paperwork-cli config put model_img_overlay_format str JPEG

  You may want to set these options if you plan to use the same paperwork data
  folder with older paperwork versions.
  These settings are shared between paperwork-gtk, paperwork-cli and
  paperwork-json and will persist across updates.
