r-cran-fontsbitstreamvera for Debian

The original source comes with an exact copy of the ttf files
that are shipped with the Debian package ttf-bitstream-vera
and Web fonts (woff) created by

   https://github.com/ananthakumaran/webify

Since this is not packaged for Debian sfnt2woff from package
woff-tools is used for the conversion.  If you might observe any
obstactles that might have been caused by this other tool please
file a bug report.
