schroot (1.6.12-2) unstable; urgency=high To avoid denial-of-service and possible even worse attacks, a stricter rule for a chroot name has been implemented. Only letters and digits are allowed as the first character, following may also contain dash, dot, or underscore. Existing chroots and sessions are checked during upgrade, and upgrade is aborted if any future invalid name is detected. Please rename or remove them before installing a newer version of schroot. See /usr/share/doc/schroot/NEWS.gz or https://codeberg.org/shelter/reschroot/src/branch/main/NEWS for instructions, starting at "Major changes in 1.6.13". -- Christoph Biedl Thu, 11 Aug 2022 21:04:10 +0200 schroot (1.6.10-14) unstable; urgency=medium Historically, a variable named SESSIONS_RECOVER was supported in `/etc/default/schroot`. This was renamed to START_ACTION and STOP_ACTION in 1.5.2-1 (2012), support for the old one now finally removed. -- Christoph Biedl Tue, 31 May 2022 07:59:48 +0200
