Due to licensing and freeness issues, the Debian package of the simtools does not contain a number of tools that can be found in the upstream git repository: putr: MS-DOS executable that doesn't even come with source rawcopy, backup, hpasm, ckabstape, tpdump: Unknown origin without license statement. mksimtape: No license statement. ods2: The license might be intended to be free, but is too vague and omitting most of the required permissions. A few other tools are left out because they are for treating source code and are only useful for simh development, besides being readily emulated by standard tools. These are asc, indent, noff, strrem, strsub. RawCopy has been left out since its job can be easily performed by any of cp, cat, dd or a few more options. m8376 has been left out because it uses hardcoded DOS/Windows path names and needs some sort of upstream decision on what paths it should use. macro11 will be included after a decision on the somewhat too generic dumpobj name.
