TuxGuitar for Debian
--------------------

The package has been splited into several parts. The core is still tuxguitar
including the default Java Sound Api plugin, but some sound plugins are optional.

The recommended default sound settings are:

  Menu Tools -> Plugins:
    Enable Java Sound Api plugin
  Menu Tools -> Settings -> Sound:
    MIDI Sequencer: TuxGuitar Sequencer
    MIDI Port:      Gervill

The "Magic Sound Font v2.0" (MagicSFver2.sf2) is not included in the package
because of its unclear license. Instead, FluidR3_GM.sf2 from the package
fluid-soundfont-gm is used.

If you prefer to use the original soundfont, you can extract the file
MagicSFver2.sf2 from the original tuxguitar sources on Github [1]
or download it from the Internet Archive [2].
