xymon (4.3.7-1) experimental; urgency=low This release moves Xymon's configuration from /etc/hobbit/ to /etc/xymon/ and renames quite some files. Additionally most configuration files have been renamed by upstream, too, to be more consistent. See Upstream's migration documentation available at /usr/share/doc/xymon/upgrade-to-430.txt.gz and /usr/share/doc/xymon/Renaming-430.txt.gz for details. The package should care about most of the file renaming but can't change the contents of files if they have been edited locally. One common case is /etc/apache2/conf.d/hobbit (now /etc/apache2/conf.d/xymon) which contains paths with hobbit in their name. Check /etc/apache2/conf.d/xymon.dpkg-new for how they should look like now. Unfortunately most configuration files need to be changed for the new paths and variable or directive names. Depending on the customization level of your setup, it's either easier to take the something.cfg.dpkg-new files and put in your customization or to take your old configuration files and change the paths and variable names. For changing paths and variable names in old configuration, upstream's migration tools have been installed into /usr/lib/xymon/server/libexec/. Nevertheless they are mostly untested in the context of Debian package and are installed primarily for reference purposes. -- Axel Beckert Tue, 26 Jun 2012 01:02:40 +0200 hobbit (4.2.0.dfsg-9) unstable; urgency=low This release adds Charles Goyard's splitncv patch.
