crafty for Debian ----------------- For now I provide a setup_crafty.sh in /usr/share/doc/crafty. You can copy it to a location of your choice and do: chmod +x setup_crafty.sh and then ./setup_crafty.sh This will determine the users home directory. Add a .crafty directory and copy some files to this location. Environment Variables have to be set too. You can do this in your .bashrc file. Logout / login into your Windowmanager afterwards, to have this environment variables set. Maybe you want to do it for the shell only: export CRAFTY_LOG_PATH=$HOME/.crafty export CRAFTY_RC_PATH=$HOME/.crafty export CRAFTY_TB_PATH=$HOME/.crafty export CRAFTY_BOOK_PATH=$HOME/.crafty Crafty uses the crafty.rc file for basic settings. Any setting can be set on the commandline. A good start of settings for a modern computer might be: hash=24M hashp=8M show book egtb=0 mt=2 exit Games are usually saved to cwd. With the environment settings of setup_crafty the games are saved to ~/.crafty -- Oliver Korff Wed, 06 Apr 2011 17:15:49 +0200
