dwarf-fortress (0.44.12-2) experimental; urgency=medium This version changes where dwarf-fortress keeps configuration files. Whereas before dwarf-fortress would search for configuration-files in the regular data paths, dwarf-fortress now looks in $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/dwarf-fortress. The first time dwarf-fortress is started after the update, it will copy the configuration files it finds in its data paths and copy them to the new location. If you want to make modifications to the configuration in the future, you will have to edit them there. -- Sven Bartscher Tue, 26 Feb 2019 21:49:31 +0100 dwarf-fortress (0.44.07-1) unstable; urgency=medium This version changed the way Dwarf Fortress searches for data files. Instead of looking for additional data files in /usr/local/share/games/dwarf-fortress and $XDG_DATA_HOME/dwarf-fortress it will only look in individual subdirectories of the aforementioned directories. Game data written by the game, such as saves, will be saved in $XDG_DATA_HOME/dwarf-fortress/run. Data files in $XDG_DATA_HOME/dwarf-fortress will be automatically moved to the run/ subdirectory. If you placed data files /usr/share/local/games/dwarf-fortress you will have to move them to a subdirectory manually. -- Sven Bartscher Sat, 17 Mar 2018 15:42:47 +0100
