This version of analog is built with pcre support, and support for pie
charts.

For Debian, analog is configured to use FHS locations for files, and
defaults to using apache's log files. In particular, analog defaults to
reading log files from /var/log/apache if no directory is specified (and
the default log file is access.log, so it will work without configuration
with apache), and language files from /usr/share/analog/lang/. It uses
/var/cache/analog/ for cache files, and /var/cache/analog/dns/ for DNS
caching. Lock files are placed in /var/lock by default. If no directory is
specified when telling analog the filename of a config file, an output
file, an error file, or a header file, it looks in the current directory.

To enable/disable the anlgform cgi interface, dpkg-reconfigure analog, or
frob the symlink (/usr/lib/cgi-bin/anlgform.cgi ->
/usr/share/analog/anlgform.pl) by yourself. Note that for anlgform to work,
it must be able to read your web server logs. If you are using apache2, you
may need to modify the log file permissions to 644, and edit change
/etc/logrotate.d/apache2 to also use that permissions setting for the log
files.

Analog reports link to some images that are distributed as part of analog.
These images are made available by creating the symbolic link
/path/to/webserver/root/analog, (Usually /var/www/analog) pointing to
/usr/share/analog/images/, and analog defaults to linking to /analog/ for
the images. This will also not work if you have generated a report and are
viewing it directly, not via the web. In this case you should set IMAGEDIR
to point to /usr/share/analog/images/.
