arctica-greeter (0.99.8.4-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Starting with this version of arctica-greeter in Debian,
    arctica-greeter will register itself as potential lightdm-greeter
    with the Debian's (update-)alternatives system (with priority of
    50).

    That said, systems that have lightdm-gtk-greeter installed won't
    immediately switch to arctica-greeter directly after installation
    anymore. You have to enable arctica-greeter as LightDM frontend via
    .
    # sudo update-alternatives --set \
                               lightdm-greeter \
                               /usr/share/xgreeters/arctica-greeter.desktop
    .
    Alternatively, you can install all other packages providing lightdm-
    greeter, so that only arctica-greeter remains as the only LightDM
    greeter frontend.
