## Lacking dependencies for bash

Using atuin in bash additionally requires ble.sh or bash-preexec, neither of which is packaged in Debian yet. Please read section `### bash` in /usr/share/doc/atuin/README.md.gz for instructions if you decide to install them yourself.

## Disabled features

Due to unavailable dependencies, the following are disabled in Debian:

- `atuin daemon` subcommand
- `metrics` feature for the server, neglecting their sections in `$CONFIG/atuin/server.toml`

## Systemd service template

Upstream added a systemd service file, as well as a sysusers file, installed in /usr/share/atuin/systemd. Please adjust to your needs if they are to be used.
