README for binutils-h8300-hms Debian package

This package includes an old version of GNU binutils, the last one to support
h8300-*-coff target.

This target is needed to build firmwares for the LEGO Mindstorms RCX brick
which is a programmable microcontroller system compatible with 9V motors and
sensors. Support for this great robotics invention system is the reason why
this version is still maintained by the Debian LEGO Team.

Please do not annoy GNU binutils upstream with questions or bug reports. At
time of writing this, this version is 20 years old, and no one stepped up to
continue h8300 targets maintenance inside the current binutils.
