Debian courier-mlm package ========================== Please read /usr/share/doc/courier-base/README.Debian for more information about the packaging of the Courier Mail Server suite. Runtime and Configuration ------------------------- By default, the upstream daemon will refuse to run if no mailing list is defined, as coureir-mlm uses scripts that read the LISTS variable from the configuration file. You'll need to create one first and then add its path to this file. Only the sysvinit script performs this check perfectly. Frontend Web interface --------------------- If your web server has been installed and configured according the Debian policy and support for CGI has ben enabled, the webmlm web frontend tool can be accessed with the following URL: http://localhost/cgi-bin/webmlm The package reads runtime configuration files from /etc/courier/webmlmrc. Note that this default configuration assumes only one daemon handles all mailing lists. Multiple mail list per host --------------------------- One daemon can handles multiple mail list, but only per host, for large setups may require multiple instances, each host must run their own daemon, please see the manpages for further information. The Debian upgrade process of course only handle only one domain, cos multiple host measn multiple init scrips that will be not managed by the upgrade process. -- PICCORO Lenz McKAY Mon, 21 Jul 2025 12:06:35 -0400
