The debian version is modified to use Select2.js from a local copy,
installed from the libjs-select2.js package. It is symlinked into
the static folder of django_select2. If you use staticfiles, this
should just work.

If not, you can override the Select2.js source by configuring the
SELECT2_JS, SELECT2_CSS, and SELECT2_I18N_PATH settings in your
project.
