Geeqie for Debian

It has been reported that geeqie has problems when using the XInput extension
(which it does by default), and this special handling can be disabled by
using the GDK_CORE_DEVICE_EVENT environment variable.

Simply start geeqie with

GDK_CORE_DEVICE_EVENT=1 geeqie
