inadyn (1.99.3-1) unstable; urgency=low

  This release fixes the following bugs: #709391, #711226. The installation
  script checks the owner id and group id of the directory /run/inadyn and
  if that user or group is root, then they changed to the debian-inadyn, which
  by default are used for inadyn.

  If you have created a custom user/group, you need to set up the $USER/$GROUP
  in the file /etc/default/inadyn. Or change user/group of /run/inadyn
  directory to debian-inadyn.

  implementation from Narcis Ilisei, INADYN by Christoph Brill
  (https://sourceforge.net/projects/inadyn/), inadyn-advanced
  (https://sourceforge.net/projects/inadyn-advanced/),
  Neufbox4 patches from http://dev.efixo.net, wl500g patches from
  http://code.google.com/p/wl500g, patch by Christian Eyrich (multiple
  accounts) and patches by Timur Birsh (https://github.com/taem/inadyn).

  New upstream homepage is http://github.com/troglobit/inadyn.

  The following DDNS providers added:
    - http://www.3322.org
    - http://www.easydns.org
    - http://www.tzo.com
    - http://dnsomatic.com/

  New options:
    - pidfile <FILE>
      path to the pidfile, defaults to /run/inadyn/inadyn.pid.
    - iface <IFNAME>
      sets interface to bind to.
    - exec <SCRIPT>
      Full path to external command, or script, to run after a successful
      DDNS update.
    - wildcard
      Enable domain name wildcarding for dyndns.org, 3322.org, or easydns.com.
      Default disabled.
    - test
      Force one update and quit.

  Renamed options (former --> new):
    - dyndns_system --> system
    - update_period_sec --> period
    - log_file --> logfile
    - change_persona --> drop-privs
    - input_file --> config
    - ip_server_name --> checkip-url
    - dyndns_server_name --> server-name
    - dyndns_server_url --> server-url
    - proxy_server --> proxy-server
    - forced_update_period --> forced-update
  Old option names supported.

  A drop-privs option now accepts username and groupname instead of the uid/gid.

  Now inadyn can start on boot. Please edit /etc/inadyn.conf, then set
  RUN_DAEMON to "yes" in /etc/default/inadyn.

  By default inadyn logs messages to the file /var/log/inadyn/inadyn.log.
