Differences from the upstream npm package ----------------------------------------- * esm/vs/base/browser/dompurify/dompurify.js and esm/vs/base/common/marked/marked.js are built from Debian's node-dompurify and node-marked, not from the releases the vscode tree pins. The declarations kept in the tree are the ones upstream ships, so they now describe different releases than the code they came with. * The AMD bundles are not built. The upstream package also carries dev/, min/ and min-maps/, the same editor again for an AMD loader and for a script tag; they need gulp, webpack and terser, and nothing in Debian loads them. The ES module tree is complete without them, and it is what package.json points at. * codicon.ttf comes from fonts-codicons, which rebuilds it from upstream's SVG. * Of the 836 files in esm/, 824 are byte for byte the same as in the npm package. Two are the bundles above, one is the font, four are the files the TypeScript 6 patch touches, and five differ where the tree shaker, run by a newer compiler, kept or dropped a class member differently than upstream's did. None of that changes what the entry points of the editor reach.
