plume-util-java (1.1.0+ds-1~exp1) experimental; urgency=medium

  * Ephemeral upload to experimental to clear NEW
    - As noted in the ITP, this package is needed to build all of the modules
      in the Checker Framework package (checker-framework-java). Currently,
      only the checker-qual module is being built since it has no external
      dependencies. Additional Checker Framework modules are needed for Bazel
      version 5 and would likely be helpful for other Java packages as well.
    - The one notable point about this package is that it backports a package
      split that upstream implemented last month. The purpose of that split by
      upstream was to simplify licensing. All files in this package are under
      an MIT license whereas the files in the split package (packaged in Debian
      already as "plume-hashmap-util-java") are under a GPL2 with Classpath
      Exception license. The removal of the affected files is documented in
      d/copyright.
    - ftpmasters: As always, please send me an email if you have any questions

      packaging as needed!
