python3-griffe (2.0.2-1) unstable; urgency=medium Starting with upstream version 2.0.0 the source package griffe is building two separated packages instead of just one. griffe ├---> griffelib - Contains the Python library | └---> griffecli - Contains the CLI interface which uses griffelib The packaging did adopt this split and is providing now two new binary packages: python3-griffelib - The Python library python3-griffecli - The CLI interface 'python3-griffe' did become a transitional package and will pull in 'python3-griffelib'. You can safely remove the package 'python3-griffe'. If a user needs the CLI interface the package 'python3-griffecli' will need to get installed additionally. Some additional information about the split can be found in the changelog and the referenced commit, Issue and PR IDs. https://mkdocstrings.github.io/griffe/changelog/ https://github.com/mkdocstrings/griffe/commit/162c31c230d22eb87cea4ec38ed4778bbe990103 https://github.com/mkdocstrings/griffe/issues/408 https://github.com/mkdocstrings/griffe/pull/434 -- Carsten Schoenert Fri, 24 Apr 2026 17:11:00 +0200
