python-threadloop (1.0.2-4) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Fix FTBFS with dh-python 7.20261019 (Closes: #1151407).
    Newer setuptools (84.0.0) find_packages() no longer prunes
    sub-packages of an excluded parent, so a top-level tests/ directory
    was being installed into dist-packages; exclude tests.* explicitly.
  * Run the upstream test suite with pytest: add python3-pytest to
    Build-Depends-Indep and fix two runtime bugs with tornado 6 that
    the suite uncovered (IOLoop.stop() from another thread hangs the
    loop; exceptions raised by plain submitted functions never reach
    the concurrent.futures.Future and hang the caller).
  * Add autopkgtest running the upstream test suite against the
    installed package.
